STEAM
Ignites the Imagination and Sets the Soul on Fire
STEAM Education is an approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.
Using STEAM education results in students who take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process.
Donations Request
Have stuff you don’t use? Recycling overflowing? Consider donating the following “up-cycle” materials to Bancroft Elementary STEAM Lab. A student favorite “consumables” area is always in need of interesting and useful materials, which you can drop off in care of Ms. Alisa at the STEAM lab or school office. Questions? Please send an email to kutsela@mdusd.org.
