Our wonderful vocal music teacher organizes The Bancroft Spring Musical. Every 4th and 5th grader has an option to participate with practices taking place at the end of the day on Fridays or after school. 

Children decide on the musical around January and auditions start around February. In May, Bancroft holds 3 evening performances for the community. All ticket sales go directly to cover the cost of putting on the performance. Still, this program would not be possible without the dedication of the music teacher and the all the parent volunteers who build the sets, sew the costumes, run the concession and perform every other necessary task to make the show a success. 

Since 2020 Bancroft Elementary hasn’t had a musical, but this will change in the near future. In the past the plays have included Aladdin, Jungle Book, Cinderella, Suessical the Musical, and many more.
