Volunteers play a vital role in making Bancroft a vibrant and supportive place to learn. Whether you’re working with students, helping behind the scenes, or serving on a PFC committee, your time and talents help enrich our school community.

Volunteer with Students
Many volunteer opportunities that involve working directly with students require Level 2 volunteer clearance though the Mt. Diablo Unified School District. To view the requirements and how to submit them, please visit the MDUSD Volunteer page.
Summary of the clearance process:
- Fingerprint clearance
- Proof of negative TB test
- Proof of Annual Mandated Reporter Training (new as of July 1, 2026)
- Complete Level 2 Volunteer Application
Volunteer positions that work directly with students include:
Volunteer on the PFC Board or a Committee
Serving on the PFC Board or volunteering on a committee does not require volunteer clearance, but it can make a meaningful difference for our school and students! Whether you’re interested in managing the PFC’s finances, organizing a fundraiser, planning a community event, or supporting behind the scenes, there’s a role for a variety of interests and skill sets.
